Takshashila University’s Department of Mathematics hosted its much-anticipated National Mathematics Day on December 15.12.2023. Respected the Registrar, Honorable Vice Chancellor, and the Deans of SAS and SET graced the event with their presence.

Highlighting the events, Dr. S Little Joice, Assistant Professor Loyola College, Chennai, the chief guest, felicitated the event. Students engaged in a variety of contests, including Mathematical Model creation, an exciting Quiz, and a Picture Representation activity. The art of mathematics shone brightly through a vibrant ‘Holy Rangoli’ display.

The events concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners of the first two events proudly received shields, symbolizing their mathematical mastery.
